Top 8 players in POY standings at end of season ( last week of September )

Low Net scoring with added strokes according to place in standings.

Players will accumulate points through the season (Jan 1 until Sept. 30th). Points will be given out for play for Wednesdays play during the season, with 1 point for every dollar (or fraction of dollar) given out as prize for the game of the day.

Upon the conclusion of the season the field will be reduced to the Top 8 players who will be entered in the Club finals (a Net 18 hole tournament, with ties sharing prize with the exception of 1st place which will be determined by a sudden death playoff).  The season points will determine stroke adjustment to the results to determine the finishing order and TOMGC Cup Champion.

Prizes.

A prize fund will be yearly determined by the TOMGC Board of directors  (past  prize funds have been $500).   The round will be free of charge for the 8 players (2 groups with the top 4 being in the second group). The Golf club will sponsor the playoffs with the free rounds.  If a finals player is unable to attend the finials, they will be seated last and the game will play on without them (ie only 7 players) and they will recieve the last place payout, if more than one player does not make the finals they will tie for last place.
